Code of Conduct

  1. Objective: This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and standards that guide our behaviour as professionals. It reflects our commitment to integrity, respect, and excellence in all client engagements and internal operations.
  2. Scope: Applies to all employees, contractors, and representatives of [Your Company Name].
  3. Professional Standards: We conduct our work with honesty, transparency, and fairness. We avoid conflicts of interest, maintain objectivity in our assessments, and protect client confidentiality at all times. Our advice is independent, well-considered, and free from external influence.
  4. Respectful Collaboration: We treat colleagues, clients, and partners with respect and courtesy. We foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are welcomed. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behaviour has no place in our company.
  5. Legal and Ethical Compliance: We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations. We do not engage in bribery, corruption, or unethical practices. If concerns arise, we address them promptly and responsibly.
  6. Environmental Responsibility: We recognize our role in contributing to a more sustainable future. While our operational footprint is modest, we take steps to minimize waste, use energy-efficient equipment, and dispose of electronic devices through certified recycling partners. We aim to make responsible choices wherever possible.
  7. Information Security: We take data protection seriously. We follow internal procedures for managing physical and digital assets, including secure data handling and responsible end-of-life disposal. Devices are inventoried, wiped of sensitive data, and recycled through approved channels.
  8. Supplier Code of Conduct: Although we do not typically subcontract work to suppliers, when we do we expect our first-tier suppliers to uphold ethical, environmental, and human rights standards that align with our own. Suppliers are required to either:
    • Accept and comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, or
    • Provide their own Code of Conduct that is equivalent in scope and principles.
      • This includes:
    • Respect for labor rights and human dignity
    • Commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management
    • Adherence to anti-corruption laws and ethical business practices
    • Protection of confidential information and data security
      • We reserve the right to request documentation or conduct reviews to ensure alignment.
  9. Commitment to Responsible Business Practices: As a small, women-owned company with deep international experience, we are committed to conducting business responsibly. While we do not yet have formal certifications or frameworks in place, we remain mindful of the broader impact of our work and strive to make informed, ethical choices.
    • Environmental Responsibility -We do not currently have Science Based Targets (SBTi) or an ISO14001-certified Environmental Management System. However, we take practical steps to reduce our environmental footprint, including:
      • Using energy-efficient devices and minimizing unnecessary travel
      • Recycling electronic equipment through certified partners
      • Making conscious choices in our day-to-day operations to reduce waste
    • Human Right and Ethical Standards – We respect and support internationally recognized human rights and labor standards. While we do not have a formal human rights policy or risk assessment process in place, we operate with integrity and fairness in all our relationships. We expect our suppliers to do the same and reserve the right to review their practices if concerns arise. We are guided by principles aligned with:
      • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
      • The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
      • The ILO core conventions
      • The UN Global Compact
    • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion – As a women-owned company with a diverse team, we value inclusion and equal opportunity. While we do not have a formal DEI policy, our culture reflects respect, openness, and collaboration. We are committed to maintaining a workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and where diverse perspectives are welcomed.
    • Supplier Engagements- We do not typically engage suppliers or subcontract any part of the work we do for our clients. As a small consulting firm, our services are delivered entirely in-house. However, if and when we do engage external partners, we would select them responsibly—favouring those who align with our values around ethical conduct and environmental awareness. We expect any suppliers to accept our Supplier Code of Conduct or provide an equivalent policy, and we reserve the right to review their practices if needed. We prefer to work with partners who share our values around ethical conduct, environmental awareness, and respectful collaboration. As our operations evolve, we intend to strengthen this aspect of our procurement practices.
